On October 28, 2023, at approximately 4:49 a.m., Fayetteville Police Department officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3000 block of Tamarack Drive in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old Garon Webb suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Webb was pronounced dead at the scene.
