In the west end of Louisville, a quiet street was shattered by violence on a summer evening in June. Forty-five-year-old Michael Jason Profitt, a male resident of the city, was found shot to death in the Park Hill neighborhood. The discovery was made on Friday, June 12, 2020, when officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department were called to the scene.
