Brandon Frye, a 22-year-old male from Greensboro, NC, tragically passed away on October 3, 2017. He was found shot in the chest at Stonesthrow Apartments on South Holden Road. Despite immediate medical efforts, Brandon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following Brandon's death, police arrested J'mal Townsend, who was charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. The case went to trial, and on December 12, 2022, a jury found Townsend guilty of second-degree murder.
