On July 29, 2024, at approximately 3:33 p.m., Greensboro Police, along with Fire and Guilford County EMS, responded to a report of shots fired at the AutoZone Auto Parts located at 2201 East Wendover Avenue in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered Robert Harris, 56, suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel initiated life-saving measures, and Harris was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
