Jaishon Darrell Banks, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 26, 2019, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident began as a car crash investigation but quickly turned into a homicide case. At approximately 1:22 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle collision on the 1900 block of Merritt Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Banks inside the vehicle, suffering from a possible gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Banks succumbed to his injuries.
