Shawndale Ray Austin, a 27-year-old African American male, was found dead on August 29, 2019, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Greensboro Police Department responded to a report of a person down on the 3200 block of N. O’Henry Boulevard at approximately 5:03 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Shawndale Ray Austin with at least one gunshot wound. The case was immediately classified as a homicide, and detectives from the criminal investigative division began their investigation.
