On the night of July 2, 2023, at approximately 11:18 p.m., Greensboro Police responded to a shooting incident in the 2100 block of Randall Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Darrin Lamont Dennis suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, July 3, 2023.
