Jalen Scott Dunston, an 18-year-old African American male, was a freshman nursing student at North Carolina A&T State University. On November 15, 2020, he was tragically killed in an overnight shooting in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Omaha Street, where officers found Dunston suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite CPR being performed at the scene, Dunston succumbed to his injuries.
