On August 21, 1976, Roy Franklin Wishon, aged 48, was found dead in a wooded area near 200 Burtner Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. Greensboro police responded to the scene around 5:03 p.m., where they discovered that Wishon had suffered fatal blunt force injuries.
