Labrina Shanoya Daves, a 41-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on November 4, 2017, in Lexington, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when gunshots were fired into her home on Bruce Street. According to police reports, the shots were fired from outside the residence, penetrating the front door and striking Labrina in the upper part of her body. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel who responded to the emergency call.
