Markis Perry, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on February 9, 2018, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Eva Street and Railroad Street. Officers arrived at the scene to find Perry suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
