On January 8, 2012, Paul Anthony Noel Jr., aged 22, was shot and killed in Durham, North Carolina. The incident took place at a residence on Dawkins Street, where Noel and 24-year-old Timothy McGhee were found suffering from gunshot wounds. McGhee was pronounced dead at the scene, while Noel was transported to Duke University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The gunshots were fired into the house, but the suspect or suspects remain unknown.
