Marquise Raheem Norfleet Anderson, a 27-year-old African American male from Wilson, NC, tragically lost his life on August 26, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when deputies from the Nash County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at a residence on London Church Road. Upon arrival, they found Marquise Anderson with a gunshot wound. Despite being transported to UNC-Nash, he succumbed to his injuries.
