On July 9, 2022, Daqwhan Mann Terrell Bowens, a 25-year-old man from Wilson, North Carolina, tragically passed away due to multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Bowens was found at a local hospital with fatal injuries. The area around 700 Viola Street was secured as a crime scene by the Wilson Police Department, who launched an investigation into the shooting.
