Maurice Ruffin, a 36-year-old man from Wilson, NC, tragically passed away on February 3, 2022. He was found shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Creamery on Goldsboro Street South in Wilson. Despite being rushed to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC, he succumbed to his injuries.

The incident led to the arrest of David Lee Bryant Jr., a 24-year-old man from Wilson, who was charged with one count of murder. Bryant was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, based on a ...
