Harry Evangelist Beecher, a 31-year-old man from Wilson, NC, tragically passed away on April 2, 2017, due to a gunshot wound to the chest. Wilson police responded to a call just after midnight in the 600 block of Lincoln Street, where they found Beecher unresponsive and lying in the roadway. Despite their efforts, authorities couldn't revive him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
