Death by Force

Evard Earl Artis, a 63-year-old man from Wilson, NC, was tragically found shot to death in his front yard on the morning of March 25, 2019. Police were called to his home on Stadium Street around 1:30 a.m. after responding to a shots fired call. Despite efforts to revive him, Artis was pronounced dead at the scene.
