On November 19, 2024, at approximately 6:51 p.m., Wilson Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1700 block of Freeman Street in Wilson, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Fernando Lamont White Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the prompt response of Wilson County EMS, White was pronounced dead at the scene.
