Latisha Lee, a 31-year-old African American woman from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on February 13, 2019. On that day, Rocky Mount Police responded to a call at Drew Hills Court, where they found Latisha Lee unresponsive. She had been assaulted and stabbed, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident took place in her apartment, and the police immediately launched a homicide investigation.
