Jalen Chavon Cockerham, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2019, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a block party on Cody Drive, where a shooting broke out, resulting in Jalen's death and injuries to five others.
