Jay Aaron Foust, a 46-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on May 21, 2019, in Durham, North Carolina. The suspect vehicle was identified as a black 1991 Ford F150 single cab pickup truck with tinted windows and distinctive stickers on the rear window. The truck's top had faded paint, and the power steering pump made a loud whining noise. Despite efforts by the Durham police, the truck has not been located.
Further investigation identified the last known person in possession of the suspect vehicle as Darius Allen Jr., who had died in a traffic crash the previous year. The passenger who shot Foust was described as a black male with a thin to medium build, wearing a dark-colored hoodie, jeans, and light-colored shoes with white soles. The driver of the truck was believed to have dreadlocks. Despite these descriptions and the release of surveillance footage, no arrests have been made in connection with Foust's murder.
