On the evening of October 24, 2024, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Durham police officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 3000 block of East Weaver Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Raheem Flood of Mebane, North Carolina, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Flood was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
