Marquin Alonso Walter Padilla, a 46-year-old man from Durham, North Carolina, was tragically killed on June 21, 2021. The incident occurred in the 200 block of Cherry Grove Street, where officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 3:40 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Padilla suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
