Octavion McClellan, a 17-year-old Black teenager, was tragically killed on the night of July 25, 2019, at an apartment complex on Barrington Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the apartment complex, where Octavion was shot. He was subsequently transported to Atrium Health Carolina’s Medical Center, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The motive behind the shooting was an attempted robbery, as alleged by officials.
