Marcus A. Guion Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, was found dead in the woods near a busy intersection in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on July 26, 2019. The Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shots fired call at around 4:43 a.m. in the 2100-block of Murchison Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Guion's body and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
