Rocio Gonzalez, a 49-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on August 9, 2019, in Burlington, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the East Village Shopping Center on North Church Street. Police received a call around 4:10 p.m. regarding a cardiac issue, but upon arrival, they discovered Rocio Gonzalez with multiple gunshot wounds. She was immediately transported to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
