Charisma Pheniqueka Robinson, a 35-year-old African American woman, was found dead on July 16, 2020, in Burlington, North Carolina. Her body was discovered on the side of the road near Gilmer Street and Graham Street. The initial investigation revealed that Robinson had died from a gunshot wound.
