Kendrick Rondell Gilbert, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 2, 2019, in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a home invasion at the Morehead Apartment Complex on West Market Street. Gilbert, along with his 24-year-old cousin Christopher Parson Jr., was shot and killed in what appeared to be a random act of gun violence. The two men were inside the residence when an unknown assailant entered and began shooting indiscriminately.
