Josue Marlin Portillo, a 21-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on September 21, 2019, in Durham, NC. He was shot shortly before 3:30 a.m. at Bay Creek Apartments in the 1300 block of Hudson Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they found Portillo unconscious inside an apartment. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries two days later.
