On January 8, 2012, 24-year-old Timothy Deangelo McGhee was shot and killed in a double homicide in Durham, North Carolina. The shooting occurred at 1212 Dawkins Street around 9:12 p.m. when an unknown suspect fired shots into the house. McGhee was found dead at the scene, while 22-year-old Paul Anthony Noel Jr., who was also shot, was rushed to Duke University Hospital but died shortly afterward.
