On December 15, 2014, 16-year-old Delonta Hart was shot in Durham, North Carolina. The shooting occurred in the afternoon, leaving the teenager critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head. Hart was immediately rushed to the hospital, but despite the medical efforts, he tragically succumbed to his injuries the following day.
