Ronnie Franklin, a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 21, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a Bojangles restaurant located on 300 West Boulevard. A verbal altercation between Ronnie and a group of patrons took place inside the restaurant, which then escalated and moved outside to the parking lot. It was there that Ronnie was shot and killed. The suspect fled the scene in a newer model white Nissan Rogue.
