In the early morning hours of August 21, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 23-year-old Steven Magana, a Hispanic male, was cut tragically short. The quiet of the area near 2600 East South Mountain Avenue was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots, prompting a call to the Phoenix Police Department. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a grim situation in a nearby alley.
