Juan Velazquez Hernandez, a 37-year-old Hispanic male, was fatally shot on February 5, 2020, at La Poblanita Bar and Grill located at 1925 Westinghouse Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when a 911 call reported an active robbery at the restaurant. Upon arrival, officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department found Hernandez inside the restaurant with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
