Tristan Edward Crump, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2020, in Albemarle, North Carolina. He was found shot in the yard of a home on Henry Jay Street. Despite being transported to Atrium Health Stanly for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries. The Albemarle Police Department launched an investigation into his death, seeking to piece together the events of that fateful night.
