Van Thien Huynh, a 55-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, was found dead on March 1, 2020. His body was discovered in a creek near Sardis Road North with a gunshot wound. Van Thien Huynh had been reported missing just before 5 p.m. on February 29, 2020. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called to the area for a welfare check around noon on March 1, 2020, when they found his body.

The investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Anthony Huynh, who was charged with the murder ...
