On January 1, 2023, 28-year-old Raymond Ningmua Ayumbi Ntungwen was fatally shot on West Tyvola Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally from Cameroon, Raymond was a poet, musician, and father. Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly but pronounced him dead at the scene.
Following the incident, 28-year-old Michael Pringle contacted authorities, expressing his intention to surrender. He was subsequently interviewed by police and charged with Raymond's murder.
