Daishawn Bessent, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically murdered on June 27, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. at a residence on Bennettsville Lane, near West Sugar Creek. Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call and found Daishawn suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
