David Victor Bruce, a 59-year-old man, was found dead on December 23, 2020, in an apartment complex in northeast Charlotte, North Carolina. Alongside him, 40-year-old Julia Rena McManus was also discovered deceased. The incident took place at the Thornberry Apartments off West Mallard Creek Church Road near North Tryon Street. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation.
