On’Teds Je’Ray Harris Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 4, 2020, in Greenville, North Carolina. On’Teds was a promising young athlete, known for his skills on the football field and basketball court at North Pitt High School. His life was cut short when he was found shot in the doorway of the Baymont Inn on Memorial Drive around 10:00 a.m. He was transported to Vidant Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
