The investigation into Foreman's murder led to the arrest of five individuals over the years.
Initially, in January 2017, three suspects were charged: 23-year-old Antero Michael Puopolo Rodrigues, 22-year-old Jerrell Devon Powell, and 23-year-old Kenquonis Niqua Mckenzie. These individuals were charged with first-degree murder and felony conspiracy. The arrests were made possible through an anonymous tip that provided critical information to the detectives.
In October 2018, two more suspects were charged in connection to Foreman's murder: 32-year-old Javez Dean Simpson and 24-year-old Keonte Brown. Simpson was already in custody in Columbus County for unrelated charges, while Brown was arrested in Greenville. The Greenville Police Department's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team and Major Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, played a crucial role in apprehending these suspects.
The case remains an active and open investigation, with the possibility of additional arrests. The community's cooperation and patience have been instrumental in advancing the investigation, and the police continue to seek justice for Travis Foreman and his family.
