On April 15, 2024, in Greenville, North Carolina, 23-year-old Jahsijah Montejah Jahson was fatally shot. Police responded to reports of gunfire around 4:30 p.m. near West 3rd Street and White Street, where they found Jahson in the yard of a residence on the 1000 block of West 3rd Street, suffering from a gunshot wound.
