Chivas McElveen, a 37-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on May 9, 2016. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Northtown Road, where McElveen was shot multiple times. After being shot, he managed to make his way to a nearby driveway, where he ultimately collapsed and was pronounced dead at the scene.
