Jamel R. Hendrix, a 24-year-old African American male from Lumberton, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2020, in Rowland, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a card game at a residence on Purvis Road. An argument broke out, leading to a shooting that resulted in Hendrix's death.
