Sofie Mulcahey, a 31-year-old White female from Jefferson City, Missouri, died from gunshot wounds on October 7, 2025. Her death occurred alongside that of 39-year-old Shawna Davis after police, already responding to a nearby traffic incident before dawn, heard a burst of gunfire and later found both women gravely wounded inside a vehicle down a wooded stretch off Cordell Street. They were taken to University Hospital in Columbia, where they died.
