Parish McNeil, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 31, 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Campbell Street, where officers responded to a Shotspotter alert and found McNeil with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
