Brian Keith Glaspie, a 55-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 25, 2020, in Wilmington, North Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning when Wilmington police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 400 block of Clay Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Glaspie lying near a residence, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound.
