Micro Croom, a 59-year-old resident of Kinston, North Carolina, tragically passed away on September 20, 2021. Croom was found suffering from gunshot wounds at the intersection of Pollock Street and West Washington Avenue in Kinston. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Croom was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, Rashad O’Neil, 25, was also shot but survived and was transported to Vidant Medical Center.
