Demario Dontrez Washington, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 4, 2020, in Kinston, North Carolina. The incident occurred on the 1000 block of E. Bright Street, where Washington was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Washington's death was a result of a fatal shooting, which has left the community in mourning and seeking justice for the young man who was taken too soon.
