Rasheem Thomas, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2019, in Kinston, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Highland Avenue, where Rasheem was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The sudden and violent nature of his death left the community in shock and mourning.
